Dr. Casson was born just minutes from the practice’s location. In high school he worked for Dr. Weber at the NKY Animal Clinic where he learned his love for veterinary medicine. Dr. Casson attended Eastern Kentucky University and graduated with his Bachelors Degree in Biology and Agriculture. He then went on to attend Auburn University’s School of Veterinary Medicine where he obtained his Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) in 1991. Soon after moving back to Northern Kentucky, Dr. Casson bought the NKY Animal Clinic from Dr. Weber. In August of 2017, Dr. Casson moved the practice from its original location on Taylor Mill to its new location on Harris Pike in Independence. The practice’s name was also changed to NKY Animal Care Center. Dr. Casson practices companion animal medicine and surgery. His special interests are in Canine Rehabilitation and Pain Management. Dr. Casson is a Certified Canine Rehabilitation Therapist and a member of the International Veterinary Academy of Pain Management.
